Marston, Robson carry primary

Tuesday’s primary election was a good night for challengers; a bad night for incumbents. Two long-time Ellsworth County officials were defeated by Susan Hoffman Robson, R-Marion, for county attorney and Murray Marston, R-Ellsworth, for sheriff. With 25 of 25 precincts reporting, Robson defeated Joe Shepack, 952 to 349. The tally on the sheriff ’s race was Marston, 872, and Tracy Ploutz, 442.
