A wake-up call

Results of the Kansas GOP primary elections provided a wake-up call to Kansas’ political leadership. Some had already heard the call and did not run for re-election. More suffered defeat in the primaries by moderate Republicans determined to help repair some of the damage Kansans have suffered the last five years thanks to Gov. Brownback’s misguided fiscal policy. Expect more to hear the call in November when some individuals belonging to a nearly extinct species, Kansas Democrats, win seats in the Kansas legislature. By that time, perhaps Gov. Brownback will hear the call as well.
