2016 Rodeo Run a soggy success
Over 120 runners and walkers took to the streets and Pioneer Trail of Marquette during the Second Annual Rodeo Run Saturday, Aug. 6. The Rodeo Run included a 5K Race, a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a Kid’s Short Course race for children 8 and under. Rain and cool temperatures greeted participants early that morning, but not many were deterred. “I was so pleased that despite the weather, people still came out to participate and spectators braved the rain to cheer on family and friends. Both out-of-towners and locals showed up in full force to be a part of the Rodeo Run,” said Betsy Patrick, race director.
