VICTORIA — The Central Plains Oilers crushed Victoria 48-22 Friday in a Central Prairie League football game at Victoria. The Knights scored early in the first quarter and jumped to an 8-0 lead. But an O-man fumble recovery set up a quarterback keeper by Devin Ryan made the score 8-6 with five minutes left in the period. The Oilers defense gained the ball on downs to set up a 10-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Miller and the 2-point conversion gave Central Plains a 14-8 lead at the end of the quarter.
