Your Congress at work. Forgive me for loose use of the word “work”. Our Congress recently returned from a sevenweek recess and will take another six-week recess at the end of September in order to campaign for re-election. Following the November elections, they have scheduled 18 workdays prior to their Christmas break/adjournment. The workdays total 112 for the year, for an average workweek of just over two days.
