Rain ends watering concerns

With the Ellsworth area awash in moisture, members of the Ellsworth City Council Monday night removed one of the final reminders of the drought that plagued the region for several years. Since 2012, Ellsworth has gone from mandatory restrictions to outdoor watering to a voluntary program that restricts outdoor watering to certain days, based on house numbers. Monday, officials lifted the voluntary conservation plan.
