COLUMN OF FIRE

Members of the Ellsworth Fire Department knock down a blaze Friday at the home of Dave Koralek, 8 miles southeast of town. The fire, which started when a lawn mower backfired and caught nearby dry grass on fire, destroyed most of a shelter belt and fencing east of the Koralek home.
