NOTICE OF A REQUEST FOR APPROVAL
OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT RESOLUTION
FOR A WIND POWER PROJECT KNOWN
AS THE “CROSS-COUNTY WIND PROJECT”
IN ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS

Notice is hereby given that Cross-County Wind, LLC has petitioned for approval of a Conditional Use Permit Resolution and Wind Energy Development District for the purpose of constructing and operating the proposed Cross-County Wind Project, with an anticipated capacity of up to six hundred megawatts (600 MW), to be located in the Townships of Noble, Black Wolf, Palacky, Lincoln, Ash Creek, Empire (West), Valley, Green Garden, Thomas, Trivoli, and Langley  in Ellsworth County, Kansas.

The Ellsworth County Commissioners will hear this petition at 10:00 a.m. on December 19, 2016, in the County Commission Room of the Ellsworth County Courthouse, located at 210 N Kansas Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439.  The description of the property subject to the petition is available at the County Clerk’s office located at 210 N Kansas Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439.  Parties wishing to review the file on this matter should contact the County Clerk at (785)472-4161 or email to ewclerk@kans.com or come into the Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.  The Ellsworth County Commissioners may continue this case to a later date without further notice.
