The Wizard of Central Plains

CLAFLIN — Central Plains’ head tennis coach, Gary Bittner, has been named the Kansas Tennis Coaches Association’s girls’ 3A-2A-1A 2016 coach of the year. It was the fourth girls’ coach of the year award for Bittner, who won the title in 1994, 2002 and 2014. Bittner is known to his peers in central and north central Kansas as “The Wizard of Central Plains.”
