Lady Bearcats beat Sacred Heart

SALINA — The Lady Bearcats defeated arch-rival Sacred Heart in a close game, 44-36, Friday in a North Central Activities Association league match-up in Salina. Sacred Heart is in a rebuilding mode this season, but played the Lady ‘Cats tough in the first quarter as Ellsworth had a mere 1-point lead, 13-12 at the end of the period.
