City of Ellsworth Final Performance Public Hearing

FINAL PERFORMANCE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The City of Ellsworth will hold a public hearing on February 27, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Ellsworth City Hall located at 121 West First, Ellsworth, Kansas, for the purpose of evaluating the performance of Grant No. 14-HR-002, which was for the rehabilitation of an estimated six unoccupied houses, 12 occupied houses and two demolitions of dilapidated unoccupied units in the city limits.  The Grant achieved the rehabilitation of 12 occupied homes and the demolition of four dilapidated residential structures all within the Ellsworth City limits.
This grant was funded, all or in part, from the Kansas Department of Commerce, Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.  All aspects of the grant will be discussed and oral and written comments will be recorded and become a part of the City of Ellsworth Citizen Participation Plan.
Reasonable accommodations will be made available to persons with disabilities.  Requests for such accommodations should be submitted to the Ellsworth City Clerk by 12 noon on the February 24th.
