Jonny Kay (Dyck) Bunker
Jonny Kay (Dyck) Bunker, 73 passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 in Calvin, Okla. She was born on Nov. 3, 1943 in Hillsboro, Kan. to Fred and Ruby Margaret (Severns) Dyck. After graduating from Wilson High School in Wilson, Kan., Jonny married her lifetime love, Dallas Herman Bunker. The couple wed on Sept. 22, 1962 in Dorrance, Kan. They enjoyed working together for many years co-owning a restaurant.
Jonny always enjoyed coloring and painting, even creating beautiful ceramics. She also enjoyed going fishing, working crossword puzzles and working in garden and flowerbeds. She loved her family and spending time with them and that included her beloved dogs, Saphira and Frodo.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Gene Dyck.
Surivivors include her husband, Dallas Bunker of the home, children Richard (Lisa) Bunker of Calvin, Okla., Larry (Gary Martens) Bunker of Salina, Kan., Kathleen (David) Looper of Springtown, Texas, David Bunker of Salina, Kan.; sister Margarette (Doug) Graebner of Hutchinson, Kans.; sister-in-law Maureen Bunker of Manning, Iowa; grandchildren Karley (Stormy), Kaci (fiancé James), Doug (Heather), Anna, Jade, Jordan (fiancé Bret), Jason, Randy (Rebecca), Timothy, Tyler (Lacey), Levi, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Okla.
Funeral service has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Barnard Memorial United Methodist Church of Holdenville. Pastor Robert Foos will officiate the service.
Interment will follow at the Atwood Cemetery in Atwood, Okla. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Okla.
