(A Resolution Rescinding The Burn Ban Imposed
By The Ellsworth County Commissioners
in Resolution 17R06
UPON THIS 30th day of March 2017, the Board of County Commissioners of Ellsworth County, Kansas, are met in a Special Session, with a quorum present, and
WHEREAS it is brought to the attention of the Board that the environmental or climate conditions which necessitated the promulgation of the Ellsworth County Resolution no 17R06 no longer apply,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AFTER MOTION TO RESCIND ELLSWORTH COUNTY RESOLUTION 17R06, AND UNANIMOUS VOTE IN FAVOR OF RECISSION, THAT THE BURN BAN IMPOSED BY ELLSWORTH COUNTY RESOLUTION NO 17R06 BE ENDED AND/OR LIFTED, SUCH THAT NO CRIMINAL PENALTIES WILL APPLY TO ANYONE COMMENCING OR MAINTAINING A FIRE IN ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS AFTER MARCH 30, 2017, SAVE AS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED BY STATE STATUTE OR CITY ORDINANCE.
