NOTICE OF LAPSE OF MINERAL INTERESTS
TO: Henry E. Melchert, Edna R. Froning, Lillian E.
Mollhagen, Alfred Melchert, Emma E. Roskam, Jessie
A. Dahlinger, Harry G. Bronleewe, Viola E. Schroeder,
Helen Melchert Piper, Ruby Melchert McGaugney,
Betty J. Rolfs, Velma Schacht, Leland S. Janssen, Scott
M. Crockett, Sandra Monnier, Greta Crockett, Bruce
K. Crockett, and the unknown heirs, trustees,
executors, administrators, devisees, creditors, and
assigns that may be deceased; the unknown spouses;
the unknown heirs, executors, administrators,
trustees, creditors, successors and assigns as are
existing, dissolved or dormant corporations; the
unknown executors, administrators, devisees,
trustees, creditors, successors and assigns as are
or were partners or in partnership; and the
unknown guardians and trustees as are minors or
are in any wise under legal disability.
Each of you are hereby notified that, pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 55-1601 to 55-1607, the oil and gas and other minerals in and under the following described real estate:
Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of Section
Twenty-three (23), Township Seventeen
(17) South, Range Nine (9) West Ellsworth
County, Kansas
have been unused for a period exceeding twenty (20) years and shall lapse and revert to the owners of the surface rights unless you shall file a Statement of Claim in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ellsworth County, Kansas, in accordance with Kan. Stat. Ann. § 55-1604 within sixty (60) days after publication of notice.
Notice is given by Judith Watson Zwillich, Trustee of the Judith Watson Zwillich Trust dated February 8, 2013, owner of the surface rights in and to said real estate and the persons who will succeed to ownership of said minerals.
