Czech Fest to honor Robinsons

WILSON — As owners of the Wilson World, Marlin and Louanna Robinson recorded the happenings of the town they called home for more than 50 years.

Now, more than a year after their deaths, the couple will play a significant role in the preservation of this Czech community’s history. Their home — with some of Marlin’s printing equipment still in the basement — has been purchased by the Wilson Community Foundation for use as the Wilson Heritage Museum. The garage will provide more convenient storage for the city’s two public transportation vans and supplies used at the town’s annual After-Harvest Czech Festival.
