David Allen Mayfield (1949-2017)

David Allen Mayfield, 67, passed away  after a courageous battle with cancer on July 27, 2017.

David was born on Sept. 5, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. David lived a fun- filled life and was a stranger to none and a friend to all. He owned and operated MAA Wholesale, Mayfield Motors and an affiliate of 135 Auto Auction.
A celebration of life will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 31 at 135 Auto Auction, 4716 S Santa Fe, Wichita; as per David’s request please do not wear black.
The family will have a private memorial service at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, Derby, Kan.
David was preceded in death by his father, Leo; infant siblings, Dallas and Marlyn Mayfield.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gail, Andover; mother, Elda Mayfield, Derby; daughters, Shawna Mayfield Thompson, Derby, and Tosha (Greg) Mayfield King, Winfield; grandson, Brady Mayfield, Derby; and a great-granddaughter, Braelynn Pystil Mayfield.
