Castors recognized for their years of service to community

When Kenny and Deb Castor leave the horse-drawn carriage that will carry them down Douglas Avenue Saturday and step onto the review stand at Cowtown Days, Kenny will go from being the parade’s grand marshal to the job he has performed for decades — being the Voice of Ellsworth.

“I’m just honored and humbled to be grand marshal. It just blows me away,” Castor said.

“But this isn’t about me. It’s about Ellsworth’s 150th birthday.”
