Legion eyes community center

The first step in what could be a long process aimed at building a new community center/American Legion hall in Ellsworth was taken Oct. 26.

On a vote of 32-to-1, members of the Ellsworth American Legion authorized a committee of members of the Ellsworth Sons of the American Legion Squadron 174 to proceed with the planning, fundraising and other details needed to make the new building a reality.
