Board moves ahead with EES plan

Members of the Ellsworth- Kanopolis-Geneseo School District board of education moved a step closer Monday night to improvements at Ellsworth Elementary School.

By a unanimous vote, the board agreed to allow HTK Architects to draft plans for a new cafeteria. No cost was attached to the motion; however, superintendent Dale Brungardt said the work is expected to total about $71,000.
