Ona Wright celebrating 85th birthday with open house

In celebration of Ona Lou (Bender) Wright’s 85th birthday, her children and their families would like to invite friends and family to an open house from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4 honoring her on her birthday at the Ellsworth golf course meeting room. No gifts for the honoree, please. Your presence is gift enough.

Friends who cannot attend the open house but would like to send birthday cards may do so by mailing them to Ona at 1096 Ave. M, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.

Ona is the mother of 10 children: Jennifer Bates, Lucas; Jodi Chase, Ellsworth; Jason Wright, Lebanon, Mo.; Leslie Perkins, Great Bend; Jana Arensman, Kanopolis; Judi Reilly, Overland Park; Joe Wright, Brookville; Jon Wright, Lincoln; Jeanette Kratzer, Geneseo; and Julie Wright, Ellsworth.
