Elbert Paul Buttenhoff (1928-2018)

Elbert Paul Buttenhoff, 90, of, Lincoln, Kan., died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in Lincoln. He was born Feb. 28, 1928, in Lincoln, to August and Maria (Behrens) Buttenhoff.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Delores Mae (Meier) Buttenhoff; infant daughter, Luann; brother, Harold; sisters, Myrtice Plinsky, Almira Sloat, and Margaret Bolte; and son-in-law, Dick Bunch.
Left to celebrate his life include: son, Ron (Jo) Buttenhoff, of Lincoln; daughters, Sandra Bunch, of Ellsworth, Patricia Lewick, of Salina, and Elaine (Patrick) Klinefelter, of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters, Ruth Place, of Ellsworth and Joy Weber, of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was Saturday, March 17, at the St. John Lutheran Church, Lincoln. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
