Mary Ann (Prester) Steinle passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Hillside Village of De Soto, Kan. at the age of 80. She was born April 7, 1937 in Russell to the late Fred and Elizabeth (Milberger) Prester. She grew up in the Dorrance area and was united in marriage to Leo David Steinle. They were blessed with four sons, Gary, Duane, Terry, and Bobby.

Mary Ann was a loving and hardworking farmwife and mother. A woman of deep faith, she was a member of First Lutheran Church in Dorrance. An avid Kansas University Jayhawk fan, she never missed a game on her radio or television, and cheered them on into the Final Four this year. Her Lord and family were the loves of her life, but she also had a special affection for fried chicken.
