Splash pad moves forward

Terry Kepka, chairman of the Ellsworth Kiwanis Club splash pad project, recently announced the receipt of almost $16,000 from the Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation.

The gift brings the total amount of money-in-hand to $81,000. That leaves the Kiwanis Club with $50,000 more to raise for the splash pad, Kepka said.
