Pat A. Loesch (1934-2018)

Pat A. Loesch, 83, of Lyons, passed away April 30, 2018 at Country Living of Lyons.

She was born July 9, 1934 in Rice County, Kan., the daughter of Guy and G. Maude McClure Stricklin. She graduated from Sterling High School. Pat, formerly of Raymond, has resided in the Lyons community since 1987. She was a cook at Raymond Grade School and a clerk for Raymond State Bank. Pat was a member of the Raymond Baptist Church, where she was a song leader for many years, 4-H leader, Raymond Canasta Card Club, and neighborhood hairdresser. Pat loved bowling, crossword puzzles, sodoku puzzles, knitting, sewing and singing.
On Oct. 19, 1952, Pat was united in marriage with Delbert Loesch in Raymond, Kan. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2004.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Maxine Moore, Emogene Cruth, Vernadine Hendricks and Leota Price; two brothers, Kenneth Stricklin and Bud Stricklin; and one great-grandson, Eli Robson.
She is survived by her three sons, Rick Loesch and wife Teasha of Lyons, Kan.,  Kent Loesch and wife Val of Raymond, Kan., and Roger Loesch and wife Rachel of Lyons, Kan.; daughter, Debby Bach and husband Doug of Ellsworth, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.  Friday, May 4, at the Raymond Baptist Church, with Matt Hendricks officiating. Burial will be at Raymond Hilltop Cemetery, Raymond.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m.  Thursday, May 3, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorials can be made to Raymond Baptist Church, Meals On Wheels of Lyons or Hospice of Reno County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
