NOTICE OF HEARING
THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that a Petition has been filed in this Court by Mary B. Peppiatt, the surviving spouse and one of the heirs of John R. Peppiatt, deceased, requesting:
Descent be determined of the following described real estate situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas:
An undivided one-fourth (14th) remainder
interest in and to West Half of the Northeast
Quarter (W/2 NE/4) of Section Twenty-four
(24), Township Fifteen (15), Range Eight (8),
Ellsworth County, Kansas and the West Half
(W/2) of Section Twenty-four (24), Township
Fifteen (15), Range Eight (8), Ellsworth
County, Kansas; and the East twenty rods
of Section Twenty-three (23), Township Fifteen
(15 S) South, Range Eight (8) West, In
Ellsworth County, Kansas; ALSO described
as the East one-eighth (E 1/8) of the East one-half
(E ½) of Section Twenty-three (23), Township
Fifteen (15) South, Range Eight (8) West
in Ellsworth County, Kansas
and all personal property and other Kansas real estate owned by decedent at the time of death. And that such property and all personal property and other Kansas real estate owned by the decedent at the time of death be assigned pursuant to the laws of intestate succession.
You are required to file your written defenses to the Petition on or before June 12, 2018, at 9:00 o’clock A.M. in the City of Ellsworth, Ellsworth County, Kansas, at which time and place the cause will be heard. Should you fail to file your written defenses, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the Petition.
