Bruna Victoria Mitchell (1938-2018)

Bruna Victoria Mitchell, 79, of Marquette, passed away June 7, 2018 at Riverview Estates, Marquette.
She was born Dec. 5, 1938 in Dueville, Italy, the daughter of Gerolamo and Maria Pianitola Rizztto. Bruna has resided in Marquette since 1993, formerly of Little River, Kan. She was a homemaker. On Nov. 12, 1960, Bruna was united in marriage with George Milton “Buzz” Mitchell in Vicenza, Italy. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Guy Mitchell; three sisters, Maria, Antonia and Elena; and four brothers, Marco, Pepino, Lino and Dominco.
She is survived by her three sons, John Mitchell and wife, Elaine, of Hutchinson, Kan., Pat Mitchell and wife, Kristi, of Marquette, Kan., and Robert Mitchell  of Marquette, Kas.; daughter Patricia Wachtel and husband John of Marquette, Kan.; two sisters, Cecilia and Rosina; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, at Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River, with Father Patrick Kotrba officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
