REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR USD 112
CENTRAL PLAINS CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Public notice is hereby given pursuant to the Kansas Unified School District Alternative Project Delivery Building Construction Procurement Act, Sections 9-14 of Chapter 148, 2008 Kansas Session Laws, that USD 112 Central Plains is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager (CM) at-Risk services for upgrades and improvement for various projects at four school locations. Interested applicants must have a minimum of five years’ experience in similar construction work which includes significant school projects including both new and renovation type projects and CM-at-Risk type contracts and have the ability to bond up to $10 million of construction. More detailed information on the project, the qualification (RFQ) requirements and proposal submittal requirements are available upon request in writing or e-mail to Ed Klock (ed.klock@glmv.com), GLMV Architecture, Inc., 1525 E. Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67211-1608.
Confirmation of your company’s intention to participate in the RFQ/RFP selection process shall be sent by e-mail as noted above no later than July 3, 2018. The School Board will be employing a three-step,qualifications-based selection process to select a Construction Manager for this project. Phase I includes soliciting qualifications from qualified Construction Managers for the project to review the submitted qualifications to determine a short list of candidates to proceed to Phase II. Phase I qualifications statement/brochures shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on July 12, 2018, and shall be in a sealed envelope or package and delivered to GLMV Architecture, Inc., 1525 E. Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67211-1608, and shall conform to the requirements listed in the project RFQ for Phase I. Requests for information for Phase I shall be made to the Architect no later than July 6, 2018. An announcement of the short list of CM firms to be interviewed will be issued on July 16, 2018. Phase II includes the solicitation of a formal proposal from the short-listed firms that shall conform to the requirements in the RFQ packet. The Phase II proposal materials shall be submitted to GLMV Architecture, Inc., 1525 E. Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67211-1608, no later than 2:00 p.m. on August 2, 2018. Phase III interviews of the short-listed firms will be scheduled following selection of the short-listed firms. Responses will be returned to the “contact” name and the “fax/e-mail/phone number” indicated in the proposal materials.
