Ellsworth district moves closer to elementary school updates

The Ellsworth-Kanopolis-Geneseo USD 327 board of education moved one step closer to a proposed $1.45 million project to construct a new multi-purpose cafeteria/flex room at Ellsworth Elementary School and make other improvements.

The board, meeting July 5, approved Resolution 18-12, which allows the district to enter into a lease-purchase agreement for $1.45 million to provide financing for the improvements with Piper Jaffray & Company of Leawood, Kan. acting as the placement agent for negotiations.
