Richard and Kathy Burton of El Dorado are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Diane, to Andrew Elliot Schade, son of Richard and Cheryl Schade of Elkhart, Ind. and Tom and Judi Brown of Ellsworth, Kan.

Kristen graduated from K-State with a Bachelor's Degree in education and is an instructor of ESL for the Raytown School District.

Andrew graduated from K-State with a Bachelor's Degree in biochemistry and is a scientist at KCAS, LLC in Shawnee, Kan.

The wedding will take place Oct. 20, 2018, at The Hobbs Building in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple will reside in Kansas City, Mo.
