FLOWERS OF THE FAIR

Wilson’s Wilma Olds was awarded the grand prize in the wheat bread sculpture competition at the Kansas State Fair. Her entry was a basket, woven and shaped over a roaster pan. It held colorful buds, butterflies and vines, as well as a tiny card made from dough and royal icing reading, “Find Your Fun.” Olds has other grand prize ribbons to her credit.
