Patty Lou (Premore) Ouellette (1932-2018)

Patty Lou (Predmore) Ouellette, age 86, entered into rest Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kan. She was born Sept. 30, 1932 in Aurora, Kan. to Carl and Reeta (Camp) Predmore.
Patty married Alamore H. Ouellette Nov. 28, 1953 at Concordia. He preceded her in death March 14, 1999.
She was a 1950 graduate of Concordia High School.  
Patty received her Registered Nurses degree from Marymount College in Salina, Kan. She was a ER nurse at the St. Joseph Hospital for over 30 years retiring in 1995. They also had a family farm located six miles south of Ames, where they raised their family.
She was a past member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Aurora, St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, Kansas and a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Patty was also a member of the Altar Society, Red Hat society, Bible study group, and Possum Hollow CB Club.
She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Patty enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, traveling, bingo, gambling, and going to auctions.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Koehn (Larry), Park City, Kan., Karen Stefek (Tim), Ellsworth, Kan., Reeta McCumber (Keith), Salina, Kan., Marlin Ouellette (Jeanette), Concordia, Kan., Deneen Barnes (Greg), Clifton, Kan., Geri Bogart (Kenton), Concordia, Kan.; a brother, Reynard Predmore (Wanda), Lincoln, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clementine Henry, Topeka, Kan.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Reeta Predmore; husband, Alamore Ouellette; two sons, Carl and Michael Ouellette; two sisters, Donna Faye and Lila Clark; two brothers, William D. Predmore, Duane Predmore.
Visitation will be from 1–8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, with a Rosary Service at 6 p.m. Sunday evening at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Family will receive friends after the Rosary Service.
Catholic Mass of a Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph, Kan. with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  
Memorial contributions may be given to Guardians of the St. Joseph Church Foundation, PO Box 301, Clyde, Kan. 66938, in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
