Wilson picks Crawford for city council

WILSON — Voters in Wilson chose Chuck Crawford to join incumbents Cindy Heinze and Darcy Hubka-Vopat on the Wilson City Council during Tuesday’s midterm election.

Crawford received 189 votes, Heinze 171 votes and Vopat 197 votes. The fourth person running for a seat on the council, incumbent Steve Claussen, received 161 votes.
