Libbie A. Sebesta (1929-2018)

Libbie A. Sebesta, 89, died Dec. 24, 2018, in Wilson, Kan. She was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Palacky Township in Ellsworth County, Kan., the daughter of John and Marie (Janda) Borecky. She married Joseph Sebesta May 12, 1954 in Wilson. He died Aug. 24, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Lester Borecky; and sisters Vivian Kratzer and Vi Jiricek. Libbie is survived by son, Mark J. (Susan) Sebesta of Wilson; daughter, Diane M. (Tom) Deaver of Manhattan; sisters, Mildred Hynes, Sylvan Grove, and Myrene Soukup of Wilson; and four grandchildren. Visitation is at 2-8 p.m. Dec. 27, at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Wilson. Funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at the funeral home. Interment is at Wilson City Cemetery.
