Sheriff said he hopes the chairs will hold up under 24/7 use by office dispatchers during their shifts

The purchase of two chairs for the dispatch area at the local Sheriff ’s Office caused eyebrows to raise Monday during the weekly meeting of Ellsworth County commissioners.

Commissioner Kermit Rush asked Sheriff Murray Marston what the two chairs — which cost $1,600 each plus shipping for a total of $3,370 — look like.
