Being Prepared
It’s an unthinkable scenario everyone prays will never happen in their town: An active assailant enters a local school with a gun and starts hunting for teachers and students.
The reaction of teachers to such a nightmare situation was the focus of a training exercise Monday during a teacher in-service at Ellsworth Junior-Senior High, Kanopolis Middle and Ellsworth Elementary schools.
