Opioid crisis brings change

The nationwide opioid crisis has reached local physicians, according to Andrew Bair, chief executive officer of the Ellsworth County Medical Center.

During the Feb. 20 meeting of the hospital board of directors, Bair said the crisis has changed the way medical providers at ECMC prescribe opioids.
