NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that a Petition has filed in this Court by Jackie Leon Modrow, one of the heirs of Ardith Modrow a/k/a Muriel Ardith Modrow, Deceased, and Marven D. Modrow a/k/a Marvin D. Modrow, Deceased, requesting:
Descent be determined to the following described real estate situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas, in which each decedent, individually owned an undivided one-third interest:
    A fraction of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4)
    of Section Twenty-five (25), Township Fifteen
    (15) South, Range Eight (8) West of the 6th P.M.
    in Ellsworth County, Kansas described as follows,
    to wit: Commencing at the Northeast Corner
    of Block Fifty-two in the City of Kanopolis,
    thence North 266.5 feet; thence West 170
    feet; thence North 50 feet; thence East 170
    feet; thence South to the point of beginning.

and all other personal property and all other real estate owned by the decedents at the time of their deaths. Furthermore, that all such property owned by each of the decedents at the time of their deaths be assigned pursuant to the law of intestate succession.
You are required to file your written defenses to the petition on or before June 25, 2019, at 9:00 A.M. in Ellsworth County District Court, 210 N. Kansas, City of Ellsworth, Ellsworth County, Kansas 67439, at which time and place the cause will be heard. Should you fail to file your written defenses, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the petition.
