Friday’s Tales from the gridiron

WILSON --- The Wilson Dragons defeated Burrton 52-6 early in the third quarter in an 8-man 1A Division II District 2 contest.

GYPSUM -- The  Bearcats tied Southeast of Saline 6-6 at the half, but the Trojan defense held Ellsworth scoreless in the second half and won by a 22-6 score.

LITTLE RIVER --- The second-ranked 2A Central Plains Oilers were far too powerful for the Redskins, rolling to a 62-16 score by the early in the fourth quarter.
