Ellsworth County Resolution for a hearing for Neighborhood Revitalization Plan

RESOLUTION NO. 2016R03

WHEREAS, the County of Ellsworth, Kansas, may pursuant to K.S.A. 12-17, 114 et seq. adopt a plan to assist in the rehabilitation, conservation or redevelopment of any area within the City of Ellsworth which meets the conditions provided in said law; and
WHEREAS, the County of Ellsworth seeks to exercise the authority provided in K.S.A. 12-17, 114 et seq. in order to rehabilitate, conserve or redevelop certain designated areas in the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of the County of Ellsworth, Kansas in accordance with K.S.A. 12-17, 114 et seq. the following notice is hereby given:

NOTICE

The County Commissioners will consider the adoption of a Neighborhood Revitalization Plan, pursuant to K.S.A. 12-17, 114 et seq., at a public hearing at 10:00 am on March 28, 2016, in the County Commissioners Chambers, Ellsworth, Kansas.
The proposed amended Neighborhood Revitalization Plan and a description of the amended boundaries of the proposed Neighborhood Revitalization Area are available for inspection during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office of the County Clerk, City of Ellsworth, Kansas.
At the conclusion of the hearing, the County Commissioners will consider findings necessary for the adoption of the proposed amended Neighborhood Revitalization Plan and the establishment of the proposed amended Neighborhood Revitalization Area, as all provided for in the K.S.A. 12-17, 114 et seq.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be delivered to the other taxing entities within Ellsworth County, Kansas.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall cause this resolution to be published in the official newspaper at least once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing.
