Look past small town stereotypes

WILSON — “How many of you would say you’re in the middle of nowhere?” Brent Comstock asked his audience of 180 or so students from central Kansas. Hand after hand waved back at him in response. Comstock, like the students from Wilson, Tipton, Sylvan-Lucas and Brookville, also was raised in the “middle of nowhere” — the small, twostoplight community of Auburn, Neb.
