Enjoy this weekend of plenty in Marquette

American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Day will start off Memorial Day weekend activities in Marquette. Area Boy Scouts and youth will go door to door delivering the red crepe paper poppies at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 28. At 6 p.m. the Marquette School Alumni Banquet will be in the gym at the school. The Class of 1978 is in charge this year so if you plan a reunion and need a special table at the banquet, call Cheryl Anderson, (620) 755-1048, or Brenda Graham, (785) 546-2439, members of the ‘78 Class. Classes of 1961, 1946, 1966 and 1976 have reserved tables at the Alumni Banquet.
