Meals target students

Several Ellsworth County churches will join together this summer to provide at least one nutritional meal to any child ages 18 and younger — no questions asked. Pastor Amy Jo Hawley of the First Presbyterian Church will oversee the first year of the Ellsworth County Summer Food Program, which consists of representatives from several local and county churches. The goal is to provide students with at least one meal Monday through Friday between June 13 and Aug. 5.
