Police chief takes Texas job
After about 17 months on the job, Ellsworth Police Chief Maverick Campbell appears headed south, to a similar job in Liberty Hill, Texas. Ellsworth city administrator Scott Moore Monday confirmed Campbell’s acceptance of the new job. He said the chief has not given him a resignation date, but it will probably be sometime at the end of June. The city council is expected to discuss Campbell’s resignation at its regular June 13 meeting.
