WILSON — Two vintage airplanes from the Jayhawk Wing of the Commemorative Air Force in Wichita paid tribute to America’s military dead Monday morning to begin the solemn Memorial Day ceremony at Wilson City Cemetery. One of the planes was flown by U.S. Air Force pilot David Olds of Wilson. Another local native, Air Force pilot Tony Mahoney of Dorrance, performed a solo fly-over before the ceremony.
