Rolling Hills office ends an era in Ellsworth

They made their first 120-mile round trip a week ago as road warriors, a sign of change in one of Ellsworth’s long-time businesses. The Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative closed its Ellsworth office June 2 to walk-in business. The move left four employees — Linnea Beebe, Jenny Thornton, Pete Orozco and Marie Nelson — to form a car pool for the daily drive to and from the new centralized office at Beloit.
