Council appoints Willems city police officer
The Marquette City Council, in a special meeting June 30, voted to hire Jake Willems as the city police officer with a 90-day probationary period. The mayor’s appointments of a city police officer and attorney were the only items on the agenda. No action was taken on the appointment of a city attorney.
