Before Charles Dolezal and Virginia Grubb were married in 1960, Charles took instruction to join Virginia’s church, Ellsworth’s Immanuel Lutheran. He was joined by his future father-in-law, Cecil Grubb, who had attended the church for years but never officially became a member.
