And the rain keeps falling
Once again Marquette’s Westridge Addition experienced heavy water runoff from rains that came in a short amount of time and left residents in that area surrounded by water and unable to leave their homes. The area experienced light rains off and on Monday, Aug. 29 and Tuesday, Aug. 30. Early the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 21, local radio stations reported more than four inches of rain in the Ellsworth area with that system moving to the east.
