Shepack to run as write-in county attorney candidate
Ellsworth County attorney Joe Shepack announced Friday he will be a write-in candidate for the office he has held since 1992. Shepack, a practicing attorney in Kansas since 1981, was defeated in the August Republican primary by Susan Hoffman Robson, a former Ellsworth County resident who serves as Marion County prosecutor. Robson said in September she has decided not to accept the county attorney’s job should she win the Nov. 8 general election.
