The Ellsworth County Medical Center will conduct a Cancer Prevention Awareness event and dinner Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Ellsworth American Legion Hall. Reservations are due by Thursday, Oct. 20, by calling (785) 810-1177. The first Awareness event in 2009 focused primarily on breast cancer.
